Well two weeks ago I said that the 2-0 start was not as good as it looked and I seem to have been vindicated by the last two stinkers they threw at us.  Now I blamed Alex Smith, or at least said that he isn't going the be the QB that takes us all the way, and now that he is hurt, (and it is not his fault that he got hurt and I do feel bad for him) he won't. 

Now back to the real problem at hand.. The 49ers aren't that good on offense period, and they weren't going into the season to begin with. 

1. Their QB situation was bad
2. Their Wide Receivers are not guys that would start for any other team in the league
3. Their Tight End hasn't proved that he can play a full season. (He can dance and promote himself, and since he drops as many as he catches, I guess he should celebrate when he does manage to hang on to one.
4. Their Offensive line other than the Rookie is one giant piece of swiss cheese.

Now I wasn't a math major, but when you add four negetives, you aren't going to get a positive..ever.

Is there any good news to come out of this, probably.

1. It's out.  The offense sucks and Nolan can't hide it anymore and must address it.
2. The 49ers have shown that they can evaluate talent in the draft (other than Smith and really, what were they supposed to do with that) and they must now focus their attention to the offensive line and playmakers.
3. Start playing their younger players on offense so that next year they already have some experience.
4. Now the fans shouldn't expect a playoff berth this year so they can go to the games and cheer when the offense does something good and not boo them because you shouldn't boo something you know is going to be average at best.

Hey, we rooted for the Warriors and Giants.  If you don't want to go out to the 'Stick and watch a bad offense, sell your tickets to fans that enjoy watching sports and will support their team.
